H.D. Public School, Bahu Akbarpur is a part of H.D. group of Schools, which is one of the main pillars of H. D. Education Society, Salhawas. The society was established in April 1991 with the aim of providing quality education in rural areas. The brains behind this establishment were of Mr. Balraj Phogat, Mr. Ramesh Gulia, Mr. Baljeet Nehra & Mr. Surender Phogat. The first and main Branch H.D. Sr. Sec. School, Salhawas was started as a primary wing under Haryana Board. Exhibiting determination, dedication and clear vision, the school remained at the top position of middle class in 1994 with all 32 meritorious students in Board Exam. With continuity of top position in Haryana Board for consecutive 13 years, It got affiliated with C.B.S.E. and become a Sr.Sec. School.
Today 4 branches- H.D. Sr. Sec School Salhawas, H.D. Sr. Sec. School Birohar, H.D. Academy Dadri and H. D. Public School, Bahu Akbarpur proudly stand before you.
H.D. Public School, Bahu Akbarpur was established in 2008 by H.D. Society. The goals which have been in the priority for the last 5 years, are detailed within the School charter. These are-

To build an informed community focused on student achievement and engagement.
To improve our facilities, resources and operations.
Overall, these goals were achieved to a high and satisfactory level. There were significant developments within the Schools delivery of real life and authentic learning. These were linked to performance management processes, incorporated school standards in planning and continued to enable high levels of individuality for both students and teachers.
There were significant levels of professional development achieved with priority on leadership development, data, incorporating national standards, focus on literacy and real life learning.
Teachers who are the educators & facilitators commute not only from nearby cities but also from other states to impart quality education to the children from nearby villages.
Alumni of H.D. have done us proud by becoming renowned doctors, engineers and officers at high ranks in many fields. Inspiring results are coming every year. In matric Board Exam, Session 2012-13, our 5 students Annu Rose, Lokesh, Kapil Kaushik, Tarun and Vishal record 10 CGPA rank, in +2 our 28 students appeared and 5 students got merit, other 23 students got 1st division.
Our students also took part in Rangoli making & Clay modeling competition which was organized in R.K.P. School Rohtak. There Schools from city participated. Our students got 1st & 2nd position in both categories. Last year we organized Inter - School Declamation contest. Our students won overall Trophy in the Inter H.D. Speech competition which was held in Birohar. In the field of Games and sports we feel proud to name Our athletes like Neeraj, Parveen and Ankit who won medals in C.B.S.E. Athletic cluster which was organized in Safidon, Panipat in the month of October.
Not only in sports and education, H.D. School is trying to develop innovative skills by making its students to participate in quiz, workshops and exhibitions. This year our students- Dinesh, Ritu, Namarata and Savita participated in Inter- state science exhibition which was organized at Natinal Level in Gurgaon. Our team was selected at Block and District level among the best teams of Haryana. Our students brought laurels to School by winning medals at International level in Karate which was organized in Nepal this year. Inspiring Result are coming every year in the field of Games, sports, education and other co- curricular activities. It makes us proud and motivate us to provide education not only in course books but also to use new innovative methods. We try to prove that the time has arrived when children and parents should not move to city for quality education. Our School settled in rural area, is trying to provide all these facilities in village itself. We are trying to prove our excellence which really resemble our motto also, That is “Education Par Excellence.”
